(MYFOX NATIONAL) - Kultida Woods, the mother of Tiger Woods, is reportedly "angry and disappointed" with her son, but has vowed to stand by him despite being "furious" over his infidelity, according to the Daily Mail .
A family friend told People.com that Kultida "wants to know how he could do this to his family." The friend added that Kutilda "loves [Tiger] and will support him through anything, but she needs some time to work through this."
"She likes Elin and adores her grandchildren," said the family friend. "She's worried about them. She doesn't want to see them hurt."
Tiger's late father, Earl, reportedly cheated on Kutilda when the world's No. 1 golfer was a teenager. Tiger reportedly was "devastated" when he learned of his father's infidelity.
Meanwhile, a report in the Sunday Telegraph speculates that Nordegren will forfeit more than $50 million if she pursues a divorce right now.
Celebrity lawyer Raoul Felder told the Telegraph that Nordegren would be "financially ill-advised" to leave Woods, who has allegedly had at least 14 affairs during their 5-year marriage.
Nordegren has reportedly moved out of the family mansion in Florida and taken the couple's two young children with her to an island home in her native Sweden. It was also reported last week that she was seeking a divorce from the golfing great and would be in line to receive as much as $100 million as part of the settlement.
