(MyFoxHouston) - The women scorned by professional golf superstar Tiger Woods who had hoped to benefit from the notorious publicity may now have the opportunity to compete with one another and win big -- thanks to none other than popular Sirius Satellite Radio show host Howard Stern.
On his morning satellite broadcast on Monday morning, Stern announced that the show was prepared to carry what he called the Tiger Woods Mistress Beauty Pageant and the prize ... $100,000.
Some people may be wondering, what company would underwrite such an 'affair?' The answer, AshleyMadison.com , the website dating service that touts itself as "the place for Married Dating."
Before describing the competition, Stern suggested that if Woods had used the service, he might have been able to avoid much of the relationship mess that he has fallen into.
While many women may still be lurking in the 'Woods-work,' Stern openly invited only women that have been referred to in national publications or television programs as alleged mistresses of Woods.
Stern issued the invitation to Rachel Uchitel, Jaimee Grubbs, Jamie Jungers, Kalika Moquin, Loredana Jolie, Houston-area resident Julie Postle and Holly Sampson among others. The Howard Stern Show staff will not plan to proceed with the pageant unless at least three of the ladies take part in the competition.
During the announcement, Stern offered a judging spot to Elin Nordegren, Woods' estranged wife and mother to his two young children.
The Tiger Woods Mistress Beauty Pageant will be composed of two parts. The ladies will be expected to take part in a swimsuit competition, with two-piece bikinis as the expected attire. The competitors, who will be issued a sash, tiara and roses upon winning, will also have their personalities evaluated in a brief interview segment.
Stern is accustomed to in-studio pageants featuring ladies from Penthouse Magazine and 'cougars,' both of which took place in late 2009, but neither commanded such a tremendous prize as the Woods-based competition.
Howard Stern Show producer Gary Dell'Abate said on the station's Howard 100 newscast that some of the women invited to take part in the pageant have likely already accepted less money for sharing their stories on television, magazines and newspapers.
