(CANVAS STAFF REPORTS) - Fans of MTV's hit reality show "Jersey Shore" will notice a big change with one of their favorite characters Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, when they see that she has retired her signature poof hair style E! Online reported.
Snooki told the online entertainment site that she didn't want to be predictable anymore, saying that she's sported the hair style since she was 16.
"I haven't worn the poof in awhile," she told E! Online. "… I'm getting tired of it."
Snooki says that she's started to tease her hair and curl it for a different look.
When asked if she would ever change her brunette locks to blonde, she replied, "Ew, no! I am not a blonde. I may act like one, but I'm no blonde!"
The cast of "Jersey Shore" was flying back to their home state from a taping for "Lopez Tonight" to finish up filming the reality show's second season.
The sassy 4-foot-9 Jersey girl from upstate New York is also standing out by recently putting up some of her personal items for auction to benefit the National Wildlife Federation, which is coming to the rescue of animals that have been effected by the BP oil spill crisis, ET Online reported.
Snooki was inspired to help with the cause after she heard the song "Make It Up To You" by the Scott Celani Band. Snooki has put items on eBay , including the dress she wore to the 2010 Grammy Awards.
Fans who want to help will also be able to bid on a hat that Snooki wore on an episode of "Jersey Shore," as well as her 1994 Honda Accord. The winning bidder will have the chance to meet her when they pick up the vehicle.
To help with the cause and bid on Snooki's items, look for the seller name snookinicole on eBay.com.
